Attention to Detail

Tyler has amazing attention to details. Something I am not sure is typical of all 4 year old boys. Two examples that crack me up. The first, we were leaving the neighborhood and he asked what the men where doing. I told him they were trimming the bushes to make the neighborhood look nice. Several days later, he commented wow those bushes sure look nice mom. Then a few days later he commented that our bushes need to be trimmed because they didn't look so nice.
Second example, Tyler and Mikayla were having a sick day so they were watching movies. We had borrowed Tinkerbell from the neighbors next door. After they had watched it several times I overhear this conversation between Tyler and Mikayla. Tyler says, "That fairy is really pretty." Mikayla responds, "Which one?" Tyler replies, "That one, she has a nice mouth." I stop to listen from the other room wondering if this is going to get weird or what he is thinking. Tyler proceeds to attempt to point out which one he thinks is pretty. Once they sort out which fairy, Tyler tells Mikayla, "She is really pretty. She has really nice teeth."
I couldn't believe that is what is picked out but I thought it was hilariuos. Tyler has such amazing attention to details, but sometimes it just cracks me up.

glad to see you finally updated your blog. Tyler is such a sweetheart. His sisters are really lucky to have him as an older brother. He's always going to look out for them.

Sounds like Tyler will be great at math. He is so visual. I have two boys that are like that and if I can show them they get it much faster then me telling them. That goes for love too.
