Kauai, Hawaii

So Scott and I went to Kauai. Thank you to our sister Kristine who kept the kids for 6 days. What a trooper!!! We had a wonderful time and it was beautiful. We did a helicopter tour the first day. It was a small helicopter, it only held four people plus the pilot and the doors were off. It was really fun. I thought I was going to be scared but I had no problems once we were in the helicopter.




Scott got to play some golf and he loved that.





We went on a dinner cruise with everyone and that was fun also. We saw dolphins and whales (which is unseasonably late but it is because the mommy whales had calves and they are too small to make the trip all the way to Alaska. So they have to wait for their babies to get strong enough.)


We also saw the rainbow trees. Those were pretty too.


We had a wonderful time. The trip back and returning to three little ones was rough. It took me longer than I thought to recover. Thank you to my sweet husband for taking me.
